Long-Term Care

Make Your Residents Feel More At Home

Help protect vulnerable patients by minimizing airborne particles with our H13 and H14 True HEPA filters, which capture 99.9% of harmful particles down to 0.1 microns in size*.
Filter out allergens, dust, and irritants that can exacerbate symptoms of conditions like severe allergies, asthma, and COPD, improve overall health, enhance cognitive function, reduce infectious disease transmission and increase comfort.
Our purifiers create a more comfortable, pleasant and welcoming environment in your facility, benefiting residents, staff and visitors alike.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a quote for my long-term care facility?

Click here to fill out a simple form with some basic information. We’ll reach out to get a number of location and room counts, create a bundle perfect for your needs, then send you a quote for your approval. Once it is approved, we coordinate delivery to your facility. It’s that simple!

How do I know how many purifiers I need?

Our clean air experts can help guide you with air purification unit recommendations for each type of room in your building(s). Rooms to consider covering:

  • Resident Rooms
  • Common Areas
  • Dining Rooms
  • Nurses Stations
  • Physical Therapy Rooms
  • Activity Rooms
  • Storage Rooms
  • Rehabilitation/Exercise Rooms
  • Administrative Offices
  • Laundry Rooms
  • Hallways & Corridors

How often would I need to change the filters?

Medify Air Purifiers use H13 True HEPA filters with three levels of filtration to catch and remove allergens, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), smoke, and more. The filters need to be changed about twice per year – see your manual for specifics. Your Medify Air representative will work with you to create a plan that automatically ships new filters at a discounted price, so you always have the right filters, at the right time.

We’ve upgraded our HVAC. Do we still need purifiers?

HVAC systems rarely provide the amount of air exchange rates that the CDC recommends. Adding portable HEPA air purification units provides a cost effective way to increase air exchange rates, improve air circulation and improve indoor air quality.
  • Typical building code only requires roughly half of CDC recommended air exchange rates.
  • HEPA filters are more efficient at capturing fine particles like smoke, compared to most filters used in HVAC systems.
  • Air purifiers operate continuously, unlike HVAC systems which typically operate intermittently for comfort control.
  • While ventilation improvements are often recommended, many buildings are unable to perform upgrades due to cost and infrastructure related feasibility constraints.

We already have air purifiers, but they’re not HEPA. Is that okay?

HEPA filters remain the gold standard in air cleaner engineering, and are the most widely recommended type of supplemental air purification technology. Air cleaners with less efficient filters allow more particles to pass through and often do not have activated carbon to remove gases and odors

Do Medify Air purifiers make noise that would be distracting to my facility?

Medify air cleaners are engineered for low noise and are tested with the gold standard AHAM AC-2 acoustic laboratory tests. Our experts can help you select a model that will provide great performance at appropriate sound levels.
