General

We have several models with unique features that are designed for different sized rooms and spaces. Our MA-14 and MA-25 units are our popular tabletop units best for smaller individual rooms and spaces. MA-40 is the most popular floor unit and covers areas up to 840 square feet every 30 minutes. The MA-112 is our largest model and covers up to 2,500 square feet in the same amount of time. This is a popular choice for waiting rooms, lobbies, office spaces, and other open spaces.

Depending on how much you’re using your air purifier, it should be cleaned every three to six months. Most filters only last for that amount of time, so you’ll want to replace it when you give the grates and body a cleaning.

To clean your unit, follow the below steps:
1. Unplug the power cord
2. Wipe down the exterior casing
3. Remove the filter cover
4. Wash the pre-filter (per owner manual instructions)
5. Replace all dirty internal filters
6. Reassemble filters and cover, and plug the power cord back in

In communal spaces like a living room, you’ll want to use an air purifier 24/7. Running it for a few hours won’t sufficiently clean the air because new pollutants continue to show up. In rooms kept closed, like a bedroom, you could use it only while it’s being occupied or 24/7 if pets, pollen, or dust is present.

The best way to place an air purifier is to put it near the center of a room. Give it 18-24″ of clearance around the back and sides of the unit. We suggest you don’t put it in a corner, flush against a wall, or under a shelf which could limit airflow.

Health Savings & Flexible Savings Accounts (HSA/FSA)

No, air purifiers require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) in order to be purchased with an HSA or FSA account. If you do not have a LOMN you can either speak directly with your doctor or select "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA" at checkout. We have partnered with Flex to enable asynchronous telehealth visits as part of our checkout. Within 24-48 hours of your purchase, Flex will email you both an itemized receipt and LOMN.

We suggest contacting your personal physician to see if an air purifier would be a treatment option for any condition(s) that you have. Alternatively, if you select Flex at checkout and enable the asynchronous telehealth visit, you will be asked questions regarding your health history in order to see if an air purifier would be a qualifying purchase using your HSA/FSA account.

When you get to the checkout page, select "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA." You can then enter your HSA or FSA debit card and complete the checkout as usual. If you don't see "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA," you may be logged into Shop Pay. Select "checkout as guest"

No, unfortunately at this time HSA and FSA payments are on a one time basis and can't be used for recurring payments.

In many cases, the air around the unit gets cleaned fast and drops the motor speed to low. Then the air in the rest of the room does not get cycled through as often as our standards require. Not only did we reevaluate the sensor, but we also upgraded the filter making it 13% stronger with 13% more coverage than the previous version.
