Purified Air For Any
Medical Practice

Primary Care
When you’re seeing multiple types of patients – both well and with serious medical issues – it’s important to keep the air as clean as possible to reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

Pediatrics
Young patients with developing immune systems are at a particular risk from airborne pathogens, making air purification a must in pediatric environments.

Dental
Removing airborne bacteria and aerosols generated during procedures reduces the infection risk and creates a safer, more comfortable environment for patients and staff.

Pulmonology
Protect vulnerable patients who are highly susceptible to infections and create a safe, clean environment for effective respiratory care and recovery support.

Rehab
Ensure airborne irritants and pathogens don’t interrupt patients’ recovery processes using air purification to create a cleaner, healthier environment.

How often would I need to change the filters?
Medify Air Purifiers use H13 and H14 True HEPA filters with three levels of filtration to catch and remove allergens, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), smoke and more. The filters need to be changed about twice per year – refer to your manual for specifics. Your Medify Air representative will work with you to create a plan that automatically ships new filters at a discounted price, so you always have the right filters at the right time.
We’ve upgraded our HVAC. Do we still need purifiers?
- Typical building code only requires roughly half of CDC recommended air exchange rates.
- HEPA filters are more efficient at capturing fine particles like smoke, compared to most filters used in HVAC systems.
- Air purifiers operate continuously, unlike HVAC systems which typically operate intermittently for comfort control.
- While ventilation improvements are often recommended, many buildings are unable to perform upgrades due to cost and infrastructure related feasibility constraints.
We already have air purifiers, but they’re not HEPA. Is that okay?
HEPA filters remain the gold standard in air cleaner engineering, and are the most widely recommended type of supplemental air purification technology. Air cleaners with less efficient filters allow more particles to pass through and often do not have activated carbon to remove gases and odors.
Do Medify Air purifiers make noise that would be distracting to my practice?
Medify Air cleaners are engineered for low noise and are tested with the highest standard AHAM AC-2 acoustic laboratory tests. Our experts can help you select a model that will provide great performance at appropriate sound levels.
