Medify Air has partnered with Flex to allow you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). This means you can now use your HSA or FSA debit card to buy Medify Air purifiers and filters with pre-tax dollars, resulting in net savings of 30-40%, depending on your tax bracket.
Air purifiers require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN) in order to be purchased with an HSA or FSA account. We have partnered with Flex to enable a chat-based tele-health visit as part of our checkout. Once you confirm your eligibility, you can check out with your HSA/ FSA. Within 24-48 hours of your purchase, Flex will email you both an itemized receipt and LOMN.
You may contact your personal physician to see if an air purifier would be a treatment option for any condition(s) that you have. To pay with your HSA/ FSA, select Flex at checkout and confirm your eligibility by answering a few questions regarding your health history.
A Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) is a document from a healthcare provider that explains how a specific medical product, service, or treatment is medically necessary for a patient to treat a diagnosed condition.
When you get to the checkout page, select "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA." You can then enter your HSA or FSA debit card and complete the checkout as usual. If you don't see "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA," you may be logged into Shop Pay. Select "checkout as guest" to view more payment options.
Yes! Please note that while Shopify does not support third-party payment methods for subscriptions directly, you can use Flex to help get reimbursed from your FSA/HSA provider. Please proceed with your subscription purchase and pay with a credit/ debit card. Once you've placed your order, your order confirmation page will have a link to get reimbursed with Flex. Click the link to complete a short consultation to confirm your eligibility and get the documentation you need. Then, submit to your HSA/ FSA provider for reimbursement.
